I spar regularly with the posters and commenters at The Standard, and the hypocrisy of the Left with regard to anonymity and privacy has not gone unnoticed in the past.

I will, however, applaud lprent today.  He got something right yesterday when he withdrew Bill English’s address from a post.

common-sense

Well done.

I didn’t – John A did.

I did remove the address from the comments and put in auto-moderation for anyone using it.

It gave me little pleasure doing it. Simon William English aka Bill is the arsehole who smeared me in a press release about who runs and pays for The Standard in early 2008. He obviously didn’t bother to read the registry record for the domain. It is something that the sanctimonious prick still hasn’t apologized for.

Frankly if it’d just been him I’d have left the details up. But his kids live there.

Now the prat is complaining that people are doing the same thing to him? He is a hypocrite.

And did they also say that their reports were taken out of context?
