The Wellington Libertarianz have been busy little bees putting up billboards in the last two weeks:

And we’ve made an impact! Poneke has awarded us the “Billboard of the week” for this beauty:

Remember: if you live in Wellington, vote Libertarianz! There is a candidate near you.

As demanded by Helen Clark, my name is Luke Howison and my address is none of your business.

In the first photo, you can see some wreckage of a John Key sign. Although Richard is holding a sledgehammer menacingly, I can assure you that the National sign was like that when we arrived! :-)

The Libz sign seems to be the only one in that location (first picture) that hasn’t received damage.

Brilliant! Well done, guys! :)

Very clever! I don’t agree with it, but it is good publicity for you Luke and co ;-)

Luke, I used to comment at Pokene’s but gave up because he started holding all of my comments, and the comments of other people he disagreed with, for “moderation”. Well, he’s back doing it to me again.
I do wonder if supporters of parents right to discipline are more forthright and honest than people like Pokene. Holding comments, often permanently, and without acknowledging that you’re doing it to others reading the thread, is a weasels way to give the impression that those you disagree with have run out answers.

Andrew, that’s very interesting. He held one my comments for about ten hours, and I didn’t know whether it was a spam filter catching it because I mentioned drugs and had a link, or because he didn’t like my ideas. From what you’ve said, it looks like the latter.

I don’t have much time for people who mess with blog comments - deleting or moderating them. It is their blog, yadda yadda, but it feels intellectually dishonest and frankly the person is admitting to themselves and others that they do not like debate and that they do not feel like their ideas can stand up to scrutiny, argument and debate.

Fantastic job boys! :-)
