While I agree there is a welfare underclass in this country, and being on an unemployment benefit especially is very bad for self-esteem and self-worth, scrapping the benefit system is the thoughtless response of those in a privileged position. Try to educate yourself more then come back with a more reasonable and equitable solution. Correlation is not causation. If a rich guy kills someone is it because he is rich? If a poor guy kills someone is it because he is poor?
