The Herald on Sunday’s opinion/editorial section was packed with Anti-Labour, Anti-Nanny State and Anti-Government pieces.
For instance:
- Matt McCarten: Parliament looks inwards while rest of the planet runs amok
- Bill Ralston: Positive spin in negative mode
- Deborah Coddington: Blame the scum at the end of a drink bottle
- Editorial: Binge rules could drive you to drink
- Editorial: Lightbulb prohibition a move from a darker age
- Paul Thomas: Nanny state’s scare tactics
That last piece by Paul Thomas ends with this paragraph:
Wow! A Libz press release couldn’t have said it better.
In addition, Phil’s recent post Liquor stores, violent crime and blaming the victim, made it into the Herald on Sunday as the “blog of the week”.
So it looks like the Libertarianz anti-nanny-state message really is getting out there. Very encouraging in election year.
Update: We can’t forget the other Sunday paper, the Sunday Star Times, which interviewed Lindsay Perigo about his latest press release (interview not online, unfortunately). Lindsay took the opportunity to promote the Libz, despite the SST calling him “rabid” and “far-right”, and incorrectly spelling it “Liberterianz”. Phil
