Pacific internet domains like .tk (Tokelau), .tv (Tuvalu), .ws (Samoa) and .nu (Niue) and .to (Tonga) are among the worst domains in terms of for online fraud, spam, malware and viruses, a survey has found. Many Pacific domains are cheap or free, and most are administered by foreign companies. Niue has accused the company responsible for its domain registry of “digital colonialism” for not sharing revenue with the cash-strapped, cyclone-hit island.
In a more biological sense, Australia’s travel warning for Fiji now includes typhoid and mumps. There have been outbreaks of typhoid, dengue fever and leptospirosis since the military coup. But the main disease threat in the Pacific is HIV/AIDS, with the highest numbers in Papua New Guinea.

When we moved to Samoa we had to undergo an AIDS test.
In Samoa what happens is girls travel from Samoa to American Samoa and work as prostitutes. They contract AIDS and bring it back to Samoa with them.
Very hard to polcie something like that.
